Another post this soon? How come?
I was bothered by the fact that I was not writing enough. Coupled with the fact that I'm seemingly in love with the word processor. But anyways, I'm here now and let's get it on.
Starting off, Indiaaaaa India! Really psyched up and can't tell you guys enough how good you've become all of a sudden. I really have no clue how, but what a time and place to get THIS good, you guys! I have a hard time believing that we can be beat and I've seen my share of world cups and their Indian teams.
I chanced to read the musings of one of my past flames. She actually writes really well. But since she failed to even mention me among the things she was actually involved in, I have to let loose the horrid fact that she couldn't pronounce 'grotesque'. Ironically so :P! I'm being unkind and a jerk, so scratch that. I don't want to talk about her all that much and I would rather focus on her writing. And anyways, she admitted that I was far better than her then. But I would say she has had the time and 'perseverance'( remember this word, X??) to get better, and now comes the part where I have to grudgingly accept that she is my better. There.
She writes a blog for her own little enterprise, which I really respect. It's a very pretty website with a lot of pastel shades and really good writing. Somehow I feel she went to the American school for writing and I graduated from the English one. My writings have this somber tone(most times) and dry wit to them. While her's are just the opposite. Suffice to say I like reading her blogs. I did try to get in touch with her via Facebook, but some people just don't warm up the way we think they will. Or should I just blare my own trumpet saying that this lion still has the heart of a mouse? Decisions, decisions.
That said, I actually miss writing to someone. I remember back in the day we used to write to each other. I'd like to think that we were awesome because I didn't meet many people back then whose jaws didn't drop when I told them we wrote each other. These days though, the only outlet I get is via blogs and even then it's just one-way communication, and sometimes does get dreary. I have tried asking people to write me and all I got were weird glances and them walking away hurriedly.
Like I said in an earlier post, I'm gonna be starting a new job soonish(yay) and I don't know if I will have the time to write. Hopefully, I do though. Because this provides some sort of a vent to go to when things become ordinary.
I did say I didn't wanna talk much about her, and she ended up being in almost every other line. But I guess the person and what they do are sometimes hard to separate.
Here's looking at you, kid.
